BASIC FUNCTIONS:

Under the direction of the Principal, the Dean of Students, 8-12 serves as a leader in the planning, coordination, and administration of school activities and programs,

including assessment, student conduct and attendance, athletics and extracurricular programs, school plant operations, and the supervision of assigned personnel.

An earned Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

Licenses and Certifications:

Hold or be able to acquire an appropriate Nevada school administrative endorsement is preferable.

Strong preference will be given to those candidates who can share various types of specific school or district data that have improved as a direct result of their leadership.

 

Working Environment:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 50% sitting, 25% walking, and 25% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
